Tyree Cooper is an American DJ and house music producer who has been active in the house music scene since the 1980s.
Born in Chicago, the hub of the early house music movement, his work is characterized by its upbeat, energetic sound, and he is considered one of the pioneers of the "Hip' House" style, known for its prominent use of samples, deep basslines, and shuffling beats.
Throughout his career, Cooper has released numerous singles, EPs, and albums. His track "Turn up the Bass" peaked at No. 12 on the UK Single Charts in 1989.
His contributions to the world of house music have earned him a devoted following and a place in the pantheon of dance music legends.
